Dr. Sedat TELÇEKEN
EDIC / Senior Representative of the End Recipient
ATAP Inc. General Manager

He was born in Tavşanlı in 1976. He received his pre-university education in Tavşanlı. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Anadolu University. Working as a Research Assistant, Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Anadolu University between 2000-2016, Dr. Telçeken has participated in various national and international scientific conferences and prepared many scientific publications. He especially studied on Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Classification and Big Data Analysis. He worked as a guest lecturer in the USA, Spain, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Italy. He participated as an independent external expert in many projects conducted by the Ministry for EU Affairs such as Leonardo Da Vinci and Erasmus+ projects. He took part in various positions in his field at TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and the Ministry of Industry, both as a project manager and as an evaluator.

He worked as an IOS Software Designer at Apple Inc. for a while. In 2019-2020, he took part in many projects as a Project Manager in the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone. Dr. Telçeken has been working at ATAP Inc., first as a Management Consultant and then as the General Manager, since July 2020. Dr. Telçeken continues to work as SRER in the “Eskişehir Design and Innovation Centre” IPA-II project.

Hakan ÜNAL
EDIC Director

He graduated from ITU Mechanical Engineering in 1994. Between 1995 and 2006, he worked as a product development engineer and project leader at the Refrigerator Factory. He worked as Cooking Appliances R&D Manager and Director, Dishwasher Global Project Manager and Factory Director between 2007-2011 and 2016-2019. He took role as an active manager in the establishment of the two R&D centres. In 2011, he established and managed for 6 years his venture company to make designs for the armature sector and commenced mass production of these designs. Lastly, he worked as quality, R&D and product development director in the hygiene paper industry for 2 years. He has gained experience in project management, mechanical design, product safety, total quality, lean production, technical feasibility, problem solving techniques, tolerance analysis by working in these fields for many years. He received the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate. He has achieved many successful results in national incentives and supports on R&D and industrial investments. Between 2012-2018, he served as the President of the Eskişehir Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB).

Serhat YUDAR
Design Engineer

He completed his undergraduate education in Bursa Uludağ University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is currently doing his master’s degree in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing. Between 2018-2019, he received an 8-month training named “Defence Industry R&D Personnel Training” organized by Bursa Uludağ University Career Centre (KARMER). Between 2018-2019, he took part as an Apprentice in the project called My Name is Future. In addition, he was in the Maker group of the “Grow with Play” project organized by the “Volunteer Movement”. In 2017, he did his internship in the Workshop Internship Program, which was prepared jointly by Uludağ University and Bursa Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. In 2018, he worked as a Design Intern in automation maintenance department at Arıkan Automotive. Between 2018-2019, he worked as a Production Intern in the production/manufacturing department of Çimtaş Group Fitting. Since November 2020, he has been working as a Mechanical Engineer in the EDIC project, of which ATAP Inc. is the Beneficiary.

He carried out 12 projects during his university education and 4 of them were the Industry Supported projects. His industry-supported project “Weight Reduction with Topology and Dimension Optimization in Aircraft Wings” was awarded the third place in the Graduation Projects competition held by Bursa Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. The realized project results were published in the TUSAŞ Young Engineers Seminar 2019 Proceedings Booklet.

Dilek CANDÜZ
Project Manager

She was born in 1983 in Ankara. After completing her high school education at Ankara Nahit Menteşe Foreign Language High School, she graduated from Ankara University Chemical Engineering Department with the highest CGPA in 2006. In the same year, she started to work in a company operating as a contractor within the scope of the projects co-financed by the European Union and took part in more than ten international projects as a Project Expert for 5 years. Between 2009 and 2012, she completed her master’s degree on chemical recovery of polymers by pyrolysis method at Ankara University, Department of Chemical Engineering. Later, she worked as an R&D engineer in the raw material research department of the Söğütsen Seramik Çankırı factory.

She moved to Eskişehir in 2013 and between 2014-2019, she worked in Candy Hoover Group, operating in the white goods sector, on TÜBİTAK projects, R&D centre establishment and sustainability, university-industry collaborations, investment incentives and industrial property rights. In the same period, she took part in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey’s (TOBB) White Goods Industry “Incentives and University-Industry Cooperation” commission. Between 2019-2021, she managed R&D centre processes, TÜBİTAK projects, intellectual and industrial property rights, cost reduction studies and engineering changes as a support and incentives manager in the Agricultural Machinery R&D department at Hisarlar. In the same period, she worked as a company representative in the R&D Centres Communication and Cooperation Platform (ARGEMIP).

She is a nature lover and is interested in beekeeping. She is married and has 1 child.

Aslı İpek Tiryaki
Operation Coordination Unit Director

She graduated from Bilkent University, Department of International Relations as an honor student many times in 2004. From January 2004 to December 2004; She worked as a Project Assistant in the European Union General Secretariat-European Union Communication Group. After the completion of the project, she prepared tenders for international authorities such as UNDP, UN, WB, USACE and acted as the project coordinator of successful projects at Ortadoğu Ltd. Şti.

In 2009, she continued her practical work on SMEs and especially clusters at the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry Industry Development Center. In 2013, she worked as a Human Resources manager as an employer representative in TDM Automotive A.Ş. . She received uninterrupted consultancy support for a year on lean production and experienced the SMEs, operation and human resource management stages in lean production in practice.

She has been working as an International Relations Specialist at ATAP A.Ş., the managing company of Eskişehir Technology Development Zone, since March 2019. In line with Technopark laws and incentives, she continues her duties to support SMEs and existing entrepreneurs, to carry out public-university-industry cooperation studies, to prepare projects for the calls of national and international organizations such as TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, BEBKA, European Union and to coordinate existing projects and supports the management.

Serhan ÖGEL
Manufacturing Process (Operations) Technician

After completing his high school education in Eskişehir Beylikova, he studied at Anadolu University, Department of Coaching and then Department of Business Administration.

He started to work as Logistics and Stock Manager in Boyner Holding in 2008 and then continued as Sales and Category Manager. In 2015, he started working as a 5-axis CNC Operator in Alp Havacılık until September 2021.

Tarkan TAŞKIN
Design Expert

He was born in 1988 in Istanbul. He completed his high school education at Arifiye Anatolian Teacher High School, and then continued his undergraduate education at Anadolu University. He went to Vienna for postgraduate studies and did integrated doctorate studies on Industrial Design. He continues his second postgraduate study on data science and decision systems at Osmangazi University. During his graduate studies, he also took courses from many universities such as MIT and Yale. He has given lectures at Anadolu University, Vienna University and Osmangazi University Design Faculties as a visiting professor.

He has given certified advanced trainings of CAD/CAM/CAE/FEA programs of companies such as Autodesk, Ansys, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, IBM to companies and engineers across the country. He continued his working life in Turkey, Germany, Austria and the USA. He uses the methodologies of TRIZ and Design Thinking. As a hobby, he works on programming and designing IoT devices.

Ali Burak MARADİTLİ
Intern Engineer

He studied at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Mechanical Engineering and Anadolu University Business Administration departments. Between 2018-2022, he worked actively in the Student Member Commission of the Eskişehir Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers; between 2019-2022, he participated in the Central Student Member Commission on behalf of Eskişehir Branch. He has worked as a delegate, congress coordinator and paper writer in general and local student congresses.

Between November 2019 and June 2020, he took part in the “Campus Ambassadors” project initiated by Eczacıbaşı Vitra Innovation Centre to increase university-industry cooperation. He participated in the trainings given by the Vitra Innovation Centre employees along with the efforts to increase the cooperation in the project objectives.

Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Internal Audit, Marketing, Behavioural Finance and Design Thinking are the fields he studied during his university years.
